At-home Setting
As a childminder I work from my own home, providing the children with a safe comfortable space to learn and grow in. As a smaller setting, I can give the children plenty of 1-on-1 attention, and focus on their individual needs to help them develop and thrive.
Montessori Learning
I believe children learn best through play, allowing them an enriching space with toys and equipment tailored to their individual interests, helps to encourage independent exploration and growth.
Pre-school Education
From birth to starting school, I ensure all children are learning & developing in line with Ofsted’s “7 key areas”, which focus on emotional stability, strong communication skills, and fostering a joy for learning about the world around us.
Grow their creative confidence
We actively encourage creativity and risk taking by giving the children a safe environment they can explore at their own pace. We love to use outdoor spaces as much as possible, as well as regularly taking trips out to parks, zoos, and museums. We love to attend music & movement classes, and enjoy discovering lots of different styles of music.
Working together with parents and families
I firmly believe in the saying “it takes a village to raise a child”. Working together with families is a key part of childminding for me, helping to provide a nurturing environment both with myself and at home for all the children I look after, as well as ensuring that families cultural and spiritual beliefs are supported and encouraged within my setting.
